Was reading someone's blog the other day. She wrote about how offended she feels when guys comment on girls things like "She's hot." She feels its not good because it reduces what you see in that girl..to the surface. She's like a piece of meat. Actually, I'm guilty of saying things like 'she's chio', 'she's hot', things like that..I guess I will forever be a guy's kinda guy.

BUT..in my defense..women are not the only victims of sexist sterotypes. Everytime the word "sexist" is used, it is always directed at a man, victimising a woman.

I am here to banish that ludicrious generalisation..

Ok yes..I admit, through history, women have always been in second place, reduced to housewives, exclusion in politics and in high office management positions. But then again..in recent times, women have been able to get away with an increasing amount of sexist remarks whilst men just sit there, either resigned to their fate...or bearing an inner grudge.

OKOK i'll go to the point. Everything men do wrong is attributed to our pride, selfish chauvanist views, our ego, our emphais on physical strength and our desire to remain seen as manliness. Drive fast? Get into an accident? No problem...blame the man's childish need for speed and pride, not willing to give way to a car that cut him off earlier. Made his girlfriend cry? No problem..blame it on his insensitivity, because all men are insensitive.

C'mon ppl...we guys are sterotyped as often as girls nowadays....saying all men hate to follow their gf's shopping, untidy, lazy or downright insensitive......is unfair as saying that all women can't drive and read maps. (yes although i admit alot of us can't stand following a girl ard shopping and alot of females can't drive.....BUT NOT ALL OF US ARE LIKE THAT)

Movies like Rambo, rocky and triple XXX, perpetuate the views that all men are macho wannabes..all only know how to fight...talk very little...act macho alot..basically, it makes us look..really abit stupid..and DUH..but not all men are like that..don't believe everything you see..

The MOST overused statement which is the MOST unfair..(mostly coming from the mouths of females) " ALL MEN WANT SEX"

Its so not true...I'm not trying to throw the punch back in the direction of females..but do you gals realise how unfair this statement is? There are alot of guys that can be unscrupulous..but alot of us respect females as equals too. Besides if men weren't interested in sex...the human race would have gone extinct long ago...and apes would be ruling the earth.

Another example

A female who strongly supports female rights = a feminist

A male who strongly supports male rights = a chauvanist

Not fair right..heh..so have a heart gals...let us make our harmless "she's hot", "she's chio comments"....we mean no harm
