LEAVING Perth..

Will be leaving on Weds on the 4pm flight back to Singapore. It has been a long and eventful semester. And it has definately been my most enjoyable semester so far. I just hope it gets better and I will continue to grow in faith.

EXAMS or rather..THE END OF EXAMS.

Today at 12.15, my marketing paper commmenced. Finally I could get my ONLY paper out of the way. I studied pretty hard for it, 10 days to study for one paper is abit extreme but i made the most of it. When i flipped the question sheet around, Crap, it wasn't what you would call easy. It wasn't THAT hard as well, but it was very confusing and you needed to really grasp the concepts. The MCQ comprised alot of small little sections which I assume alot of ppl wouldn't study for, judging by the horrified look with the guy on my left.

But anyway...breezed past it. I spotted most of the essay questions correctly and it was a bonus. I could answer four competently (we only need to do 3). Stepped out of the classroom with a really good feeling. Until i was attacked by flies.DOH..

Well..it wasn't the best day for everybody. Mish had abit of a car accident today. But the impt thing is that she's fine. Considering the THING that hit her was a big 4x4. So people, pls pray for her..Pray for the car too, cause I think its going to heaven soon.

This brings into question..WHY ARE THERE SO MANY 4x4 sports utility vehicles on the road?

1) They waste petrol
2) They have off-road capabilities but most ppl don't even go off-road, at most once or twice a year
3) They are BIG and take up alot of space on the road
4) A normal saloon has the same seating capacity
5) They cause more pollution
6) If you get into an accident with one, its VERY dangerous
7) They can't see small cars in their blind spots (like mine)
8) Some ppl think they look good.............really???
9) Being so high up is not a good thing when u go ard a corner too fast
10) THEY AREN'T THAT SAFE, trust me..

One day, oil is going to run out and we're going to have to rely on electric and hydrogen powered cars. These cars will be nowhere near as powerful or as fast as the current ones that run on petrol. This will mean the death of the car enthusiast and we will know who to blame...%^&*( SUVS!!!

THE END OF THE SEMESTER

Well, not exactly ended, but ending on the 15th of November. Well its been my first fulll semester since I've joined Zion, and its quite amazing that the number of friends in Perth have almost tripled. Haha. I think GOD answered my prayer when I asked HIM to give me a LIFE! Its only the start of an eventful journey..

In recent times the market has been dominated by cars that target women as their primary target..i shall list afew

I'm thinking, the cars which girls appriciate all look cute, but lack performance. Does performance really matter? Do we HAVE to drive fast? Do we HAVE to overtake? Probably not. On hindsight,they're all practical, fuel efficient, can fit four people (apart from the copen)

Are WOMEN really more practical than guys? These are cheap yet effective cars. Guys like cars that look sporty and have performance, but they rarely ever manage to stretch the car's limits, plus they're usually very pricy.

ARE men taken advantage of in this world of increasing pleasures? Are we victims of our own lifestyle? Perhaps WE are the confused ones, not women. YES..women are complicated, but are MEN confused?

OR do women confuse men?

STUDYING FOR MY ONLY EXAM

As I type this blog, I'm sitting in GP3 with afew Zion people. The enviroment here is so much better than Curtin labs. Its quieter and..I dunno, it just feels better, although I think they need better computers. I'm here with Garry,Edwin,Mel and Dorcas...

Dorcas is the most diligent...not a single word since she sat down to study. She isn't even talking on her phone, amazing...

Edwin brought a years supply worth of food. Chips,gummy bears and 2 bottles of gatorade. He's got a book infront of him but on his com screen is an article called "Same-sex marriage measures succeed" Haha..hmmm...Edwin can't possibly be a closet gay right...? I dun think so..haha..

Garry is studying..and talking to Mel..dunno whats he doing..but he was kind enough to lend me his laptop. He's wrapped in a baby blue blanket, which looks kinda obiang..

Mel is studying hard, and listening to Jay Chou....

I'm stitting at the extreme end...finished 3 chapters of marketing. Its really quite an achievement. I really understand the chapters well now...

ADDICTED TO NARUTO

Hey Everyone,

Liong Choon has put my grades at risk by giving me 105 episodes of naurto. Its so addictive but super fun to watch. I watched finished the whole series in a matter of days. Its about this ninja boy who wants to become the most powerful ninja in his village. Anyway, you guys should watch it.

To my friends : I have only one exam, so if you guys ask me when my exam starts its on the 15th of NOV and if you ask me when it ends...its 15th of NOV.

Bijia has a new blog up and running and its quite interesting to read. It is quite abit of self-appraisal though, not for the faint-hearted. She needs a guy, who will it be? I have no idea..haha..shall not diss her on my blog. But her description of herself on her blog is a big lie...

I finished two major assignments in four days when i actually had 8 days to do it. So proud of myself. Need to have this kind of concentration all sem though, I only have it towards the end. Sad..

Celebrated Jo's bday today, my first cell leader in Zion. Its been nice to have been her cell, have learnt alot. The meal was pretty expensive though..29bucks..thats like 6 meals in S'pore. After that proceeded to MAT BAY to give her present..CHINESE STORY BOOKS! dunno wats up with that though...haha..
