Well, as of afew hrs ago, Mel and Daryl left for Singapore. I know for sure they meant quite alot to many people and its really sad that they're going..but I guess you have to flow with where life takes you and i wish them all the best...

To Mel: Thanx for being a friend, a listening ear and someone who can be at times, brutally honest.heh. It was great being in your cell and despite ur occasional shortcomings in the punctuality department, it really was a pleasure. It wasn't so much of a working relationship, but i was more of a friendship which I will really cherish. You take care of yourself..and I know Singapore is a place that will make you more streetwise..heh..

To Daryl: Didn't exactly like you the first time I saw you..heh..but I know despite your dubioius appearence that you really take the effort to maintain good relationships with the people around you. Unfortunately, I didn't get to spend as much time as I liked to hang out and have a drink for you, but I'd like to thank you for the effort u put in to talk to me..take care dude..

Both of you, when i see you again, I hope you both are more punctual..heh =)

Search For A Star, A Huge Success...

Finally, its over, as of afew hrs ago. Unlike the last SFAS that i wasn't involved in, this was a totally new experience. To be involved was a wonderful experience, the kind of effort people put in to make this thing happen. The performances were great, and the hosts did a really good job.

KUDOS to the Drama Team who did super well, infact I think we did better than we expected. Marcus and Felicia were really good man..the audience was really supportive. Kelvin and Mish sang super well and I don't know what to say, I am quite overwhelmed even though I had a minor role..but well..its a start.

So many cute acts, a spoof of the matrix pingpong thingie...Non-chinese ppl singing chinese songs and a really touching act staring Ray Ong, his dad and his brothers. There were instrumentals, drama, kids drama, dance and choir.

I personally liked the dance alot..haha choir was good too..and Charlyn can play the sax..how unexpected..didn't know she was musically inclined..

ANYWAY this year's SFAS was really a great experience for me and it will really stay in my memory for a long long time to come..Luckily I have pictures so you guys can have a look..

I don't think i'll be around for next year's SFAS but I'll rem this one for a long long time

MY IRREGULAR HABITS (ripped off from other ppl's blog)

Here are a collection of my weird habits..

1)When I order fast food, I will never ever touch the chicken or the burger before I finish my fries..I don't eat them together.

2)When I drive, I like to rest my hand on the gear knob, I like to push the car around a tight corner in second gear.

3)I like to drink coke in the morning, after I wake up, cause I'm too lazy to make coffee

4)I like to bring my cat to bed with me, cause its soft, furry and warm.

5)I brush my teeth in the shower, and sometimes shave too.

6)After I bathe, I MUST clean my ears with a cotton bud

7)I cannot sleep with a shirt on, regardless of winter or summer...feels uncomfortable

8)I like to look up at the sky when as the rain falls on me...i think it looks really beautiful...(this one is weird..sounds gay)

Search for a star auditions

Thank God the auditions for the drama team went well today. The scipt is actually quite funny, surprising since Mish has a very dry sense of humor..haha. The two leads Marcus and Felicia, man, they have like so many lines to remember and they even have to sing..but they did really well

I'm playing a very small role, as a rich boyfriend, I actually get to dump Felicia, how cool is that. Haha. I got alot of smart Alec comments on the role I was playing....ie. "Chris, you don't even have to act! Just be yourself!" haha
Anyway I'm grateful for the opportunity.

It was a pretty good feeling, seeing how everyone put in their best, the dancers and and some of the band performances. Its just very touching how everyone puts in so much effort. I'm realllly touched. Although I don't display it much because its not in my character to do so..haha.

I was talking on SKYPE to that PHD girl back in SIngapore, we were like testing each other on the shopping place in Singapore..

When I asked her where is Junction 8, she said BUGIS...muahahahhaha...I guess doing a PHD doesn't mean you won't get confused with Bishan and Bugis junction..lol

I was driving the other day...thinking about some stuff..

1)Why do Aussie students in their 20s love to drive past Asians and make stupid faces, its horribly irritating. Even when I drive at like 60km/h, I get Aussie kids making monkey faces at me when they drive past.MOST of the time, I really can't be bothered.

2)Journalism tutors all have attitude problems, they teach with an aura of arrogance cause they've worked in the REAL world and we as students are inferior animals...hiaz..

3) I realised Liong Choon, can sometimes be abit bo liao..hahahhaa

4) I realised Singapore girls can't really cook..haha..

5) I realised I'm only JOKINGLY MCP, I'm not a real MCP..

6) Bubble tea only takes about 50cents to make...but it sells for 3bucks...WE R ALL BEING CHEATED!!

7)I realised I'm a very very slow driver..

8) I realised Curtin has much better facilities than UWA, sure...they have a nice clock...thats about it..

9) I realised Garry looks quite old for someone so young..he got LAO JIAO (old timer) face..

10) I realised...I still don't have speeding fines....muahahaha...
